new walls being built! and GUITARS for sale

Well,

Things are moving on a-pace at Rock Hard Studios (www.rock-hard-studios.co.uk).

We have mounted the sign above the door, which looks ACE (no more pizza delivery people getting lost). Also, the walls for the control room are being built as we speak, which is very exciting because once that room is built we'll have the core of what we wanted in the unit!

We have also taken delivery of the first of our stock to sell :-) We have several electric guitars, accoustic guitars and basses. We have also got the smaller things to sell - plecs, strings and kazoos etc :-)

We still haven't managed to open room 3 yet, because Mark is still on holiday so there's no way the door is going to get hung.. hopefully he'll be back this weekend though, and once that door is on (and the other one is finished) we'll have two fully functioning rooms, because i'll finish painting them tonight...

we're also advertising on www.blackpoolbands.co.uk a bit more (check it out, if you want info on bands they're the best) and we had Exile Films down on Wednesday to interview us, and film the studio for their documentary about Blackpool Music.

Studio Being Built!

Well then, first blog, and it's an exciting one!

First, a bit of background.

The Rock Hard Music Group (www.rhmg.co.uk) are based in Blackpool, and are committed to developing the Musical Community in this wonderful town. We run jam nights for new bands (www.rock-hard-live.co.uk), as well as providing gigs for more established acts, and are able to record these events for posterity.

We are also getting close to opening the Rock Hard Studios (www.rock-hard-studios.co.uk), a professional quality rehearsal and recording facility based in the centre of blackpool, with four rehearsal rooms and a digital recording suite. (More importantly maybe we're also providing N64, Playstation 2 and - most impressively, table football in the chill out room!)

So, this blog will follow our continuing journey through building the studio (tonight, we're finishing studding the walls in the first room, and sanding down some other walls preparatory to painting), and also update you on all the other things that are going on in the world of Rock Hard Music Group.

our MySpace (where we run a lot of our business from) is : www.myspace.com/rockhardrecordsuk. Alternativey, visit www.rhmg.co.uk for contact details.
